Alan Green was born and raised in Spokane, having attended Lewis and Clark High School. After graduating from Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in philosophy, he moved to Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center. Alan graduated early from law school, while working for the pre-eminent non-profit environmental and land use attorney in the area.
Alan spent the next 5 years practicing law in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, handling worker’s compensation, personal injury, premises liability, auto negligence,products liability and other civil matters. Alan became the Managing Attorney for the South Florida office of a large regional law firm based out of Tennessee, where he practiced until deciding to return to Spokane in 2007. Alan is also an equity partner and registered in-house counsel for the web and software design company, Imaginary Trout, LLC.
Currently, Alan maintains the following licenses to practice law: Washington State Bar, Florida State Bar (Inactive), Arizona State Bar(as Registered In-house Counsel), Federal 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, Federal Southern District Court of Florida, Federal Middle District of Florida, Federal Eastern District of Washington.
